Marchelle Johnson Wright is the Chief People Officer at Group Black where she focuses on establishing equitable hiring and HR practices while building and scaling a culture of diversity and cultural inclusion. As a result of her leadership, she is recognized by AdExchange and Admonsters as a 2023 Top Women in Media & Ad Tech Honoree in the DEI Champions category. Wright is a versatile Human Resources Executive with over 23 years of experience in People, Talent & Culture functional areas. Wright joined Group Black after serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at ViacomCBS where she managed the technology team integration between CBS and Viacom, and was responsible for 2,000 global employees. Prior to ViacomCBS, Wright held various human resources roles at Valassis, a media and marketing service company.
