James Rhyu is the Executive Vice President of Finance who is laser focused on developing Group Black's strategic finance function while also providing guidance and strategic advisory across the business. Prior to Group Black James served in various executive level finance roles at ViacomCBS, Red Ventures, Ebay. Lionsgate Entertainment, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. At ViacomCBS he was the primary business partner to the EVP of the CNET Media Group and during his time he also successfully executed the sale of the CNET Media Group to Red Ventures. As a financial planning and analysis  executive with more than 15 years of experience he is a leader in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting for some of the world's largest names in media and entertainment. As a lifelong learner and an alum of UCLA's Anderson School of Management, James is poised to continue to propel Group Black toward its goal of dramatically changing the face of media ownership and investment.
